In almost all cultures and in different part of the world, Marriage & Children go hand in hand; therefore one cannot take it with levity.

This write-up is therefore for ladies & the guys that love them to think, plan & prepare for it as they go in this new year.

There is this trend if waitibg for some years after marriage before having babies nowadays... though its not too common in Africa where after few months (4-5) into the marriage people are already looking for the result of the consumation of the wedding. But whatever the reason for delay in having babies YOU HAVE TO START CONSIDERING YOUR AGE!




Apart from my own dislike about the idea of having to take kids to school at over 50yrs of age in the future when others are enjoying their retirement and early empty nest for a fresh, new romantic married life; there are other dangers.

A woman is in her optimal fertility phase between ages 18 & 28.
There is 94% chance that a healthy 25 -29 year old woman can become pregnant, & 70% chance that a healthy 35 -39 year old woman can become pregnant. After 40, fertility decreases dramatically ... & by age 45, only 5% of women are still fertile.



All doctors agree... if having children is a priority doing so in your 20s or early 30s is much more advisable than waiting until your late 30s or beyond.
