4 Reasons Why Women Love Men Who Love Football

4 Reasons Why Women Love Men Who Love Football

Being happy as a unit never goes out of style, so if she loves you for the football fan you are, continue to make each other happy.
With a general focus on fulfillment for a healthy relationship, take a look at five reasons why women love men for the football fanatics they are.

Loyalty
If a poll were taken on the top qualities a man should have for a successful relationship, being loyal would surely be a big hit with the masses. Men show loyalty to their team, which can reflect on the team they have at home.
If you’re seeking a lasting relationship, you want a forever sports fan to be the person who’s looking at you when you wake up every morning. Your partner’s favorite team may have been the worst team for the past decade, but he still stuck with them through it all.
I’m not comparing his horrible team to the reason why relationships fall apart; I’m simply pointing out that through the hellfire, this man embraced the pain and stuck with the program. “Faithful” is a word you only want to hear during good moments.

Bonding
For a sports enthusiast, having someone who is willing to discuss what is going on and listen is all he ever wanted. Watching games together — whether it be at a bar, home on the couch or listening on the radio in a park — can strengthen the connection you have with your partner.
Being inquisitive and having an open ear are two qualities that get to a sports fan. If you didn’t know, men enjoy explaining the sport to women.

Leverage
It can be good to give your guy some space when he’s watching his favorite game and you happen to have no interest in it. Time away from your partner can be healthy for the relationship, giving both sides a chance to decompress and escape into their own worlds.
Ladies, don’t forget; this can be an advantage towards you. I’m not saying to “love ‘em and leave ‘em” or exploit your partner, but if you sit through something he wants to do, you can easily convince him to do something you want to do later.

Passion
Women love a man who has an intense desire for something, as long as he expresses the same or greater amount of enthusiasm towards her, of course. This also translates to other circumstances outside of football.
Fervor in a relationship can motivate someone to do better, push someone through tough times or even be the fire that lights the excitement in a couple that keeps them going for the rest of their lives together.
A woman loves to see a man thoroughly take interest in something, especially when it’s something that makes them better as a unit.

All in all, the truth is that these qualities will not translate to every relationship and circumstance, but they will for others. Relationships grow in many different ways, but sometimes, a common bond can grow a relationship more than anything else.
