Who will lift Nigeria up?

Her friends are very few

The most astonishing is that,

As few as they were, they weren’t united!

Who will lift Nigeria up?

Her enemy has might,

I can perceive victory celebration in their camp

Yes, they said Nigeria is done for!

       Who will lift Nigeria up?

Can we find anyone so bold to declare?

She lay dying like a cut away branch

Can she still survive?

LORD, impossibility is your specialty

No one else can do this for Nigeria;

Come like a dew on Nigeria

And Nigeria like the dying tree shall LIVE!
